Glass works at Cirva (FR)

Work in Progress. Sylvain is guest Designer at the CIRVA (Centre International de Recherche sur le Verre et les Arts Plastiques de Marseille), since 2008. The CIRVA is essentially a research center for experimentation. Working with the technicians, Sylvain has been familiarising himself with glass and its various processes. Here are a few images of several experiments. Some of these experiments have led towards products now in production. This is the case for the Print lights, which were further developed with Established & Sons in 2010.
