The exhibition OpenGrounds at Grand-Hornu Images, Belgium, for Belgian Designer of the Year 2009, (14 October 2009 - 03 January 2010) gathered a selection of works dating back to 2002. Projects and products were presented along a smoothly laid-out 17 meters long and up to 130cm high monticule of rubber granulate, resembling spoil heaps of the region of south Belgium as well as relating to Sylvain's interest for plastics.
