The Torch Lights Series have won the UK Grand Designs Award for Best Lighting Design and Product of the Year 2009.

Milan Design week: Sylvain Willenz presents two new series of works. On show from 22-27 April. Landmarks series, new lighting for Established & Sons at La Pelota, 10, Via Palermo, MIlan. And the New Candy Collection series at the Galleria Bonaparte, Via Pontaccio 8-10, Milan. A prototype of the Candy will also be shown in the Prophets & Penitents – Confessions of a Chair Exhibition organised by DAMn Magazine, Galleria Blanchaert, Piazza S.Ambrogio, 4, Milano

The Freecom xxs Mobile Drive wins a Red Dot Best of the Best Product Design Award 2009.

The Freecom xxs Mobile Drive wins an iF Product Design Award 2009.

Torch lights, Stuff Bags and the xxs selected to feature in an exhibition for a new MUJI Flagship Store opening in Hong Kong 21 November.

Freecom Launches the xxs Mobile Drive, the world's smallest 2.5" portable hard drive.

Glassworks: Sylvain is this year's guest Designer at the CIRVA (Centre International de recherches sur le verre et les Arts Plastiques) in Marseille. Works are in Progress until fall 2009.
