The exhibition OpenGrounds at Grand-Hornu Images, Belgium, for Belgian Designer of the Year 2009, (14 October 2009 - 03 January 2010) gathered a selection of works dating back to 2002. All items were presented along a smoothly laid-out 17 meters long and 130cm high monticule of rubber granulate, resembling spoil heaps of the region of south Belgium as well as relating to Sylvain's interest for soft plastics.
